Group Classes

The following classes are held at the Dance Palace Community & Cultural Arts Center, 503 B St, Point Reyes Station

  • Tuesday Morning Pilates – Tuesdays, 8:00am

    Using a floor mat and small props, this class focuses on basic Pilates principles: core strength, increased flexibility, breath control and correct alignment to improve posture. Every class is different to insure that the body is challenged in new ways. This class moves at a brisk pace and some Pilates experience is helpful. Classes run in 8 week sessions around the calendar.
    $88 for all 8 weeks when paid on first day of session
    Drop in any time – $16 per class

  • Gentle Pilates – Tuesdays, 9:30am

    This fun class is specifically designed for those who cannot get down to the floor. The class focuses on basic Pilates principles: core strength, increased flexibility, breath control and correct alignment to improve posture. You will move in all planes of motion while seated as well as standing. This well-rounded program also includes exercises that focus on balance and stability.
    Classes run in 8 week sessions around the calendar.

  • Thursday Morning Pilates – Thursdays, 8:00am

    Using a floor mat and small props, this class focuses on basic Pilates principles: core strength, increased flexibility, breath control and correct alignment to improve posture. Every class is different to insure that the body is challenged in new ways, but simple choreography and clear instruction makes this class accessible to both beginners that haven’t exercised in years or people who exercise regularly. This class moves at a moderate pace and all levels are welcome.
    Classes run in 8 week sessions around the calendar.

  • 50/50 Workout

    This fun, up-tempo class is a fusion of the Barre technique and traditional Pilates exercises and incorporates props. A low-impact, fat-burning workout, plan to do some free-standing lifting using light weights, some mat work, and plenty of barre work. The class also incorporates stretching segments after each strengthening series, so you’ll lengthen your body and increase flexibility while you tone. Some Pilates experience is helpful but not required.
    Class size limited to 6
    No drop-in.

  • Advanced Pilates Mat Class

    Pilates devotees will love this workout! This challenging mat class is made up of traditional Pilates exercises choreographed into a fluid workout that activates, isolates and stabilizes deep core muscles while improving posture, flexibility, balance and strength. This class moves at an elevated pace and, for safety, participants are required to possess experience with Pilates.
    Class size limited to 12.
    No drop-in.
    $160 for all 8 weeks
